 The golden barrel cactus plant (Echinocactus grusonii) is an attractive and cheerful specimen, rounded and growing to as much as three feet tall and three feet around much like a barrel, hence the name. Be careful, though, as it has long dangerous spines, the stiff yellow needles grow in clusters along ribs of the cactus..

 Blue Barrel Cactus (Ferocactus glaucescens), A globular cactus with deep ribs from the rocky, limestone hills of eastern and central Mexico. This species turns a powdery blue with time and has contrasting, pale yellow spines lining each rib. They produce new offsets readily as well as funnel-shaped, yellow flowers.

 Light: As we all know Cactuses love sunlight but also grows well in bright indirect sunlight. Indoors grow on a sunny window sill or under a grow light. This ensures your cactus grow healthily.

Water: Cactus will always rot if you overwater them. It may turn pale if it is deprived water, adjust according to its needs. Water the roots well once every once a month. If you are a beginner than start by spraying your cactuses heavy once a week.
